Our circle times are easy to incorporate into your daily rhythm and will be a time of joy, connection and fun for all your family. Kindle the Spark circle times include a range of songs, action games, rhythm activities and fingerplays. All of these provide a great basis for a range of developmental areas including phonemic awareness, musicality and fine and gross motor skills.
Our circle times are inspired by Waldorf Early Childhood circles, although we’ve added our own flair to incorporate more intentional movement opportunities and games to keep your little ones engaged and looking forward to this time together each day. We also know that many of you are homeschooling families, and so our circle times incorporate clapping games and beanbag exercises that older siblings will enjoy too, and we often give ideas for incorporating skip counting into the verses.
With clear instructions for each fingerplay, movement verse and game, it’s easy to get started with our circle times. Smaller flashcard versions of all the lyrics are included too, so you can have the prompts with you during your circle times. Links to audio recordings of the songs are provided so you and your children can learn the melodies easily.

After feeling in a bit of a home education rut, this curriculum has given me the motivation to try something new. We read a LOT in our house and I love that each unit is based on a different story, whilst incorporating a wide range of subjects and activities that will keep everyone engaged.
